Chief Executive Officer, Director
Daniel is the Chief Executive Officer of KnowledgeTree. Prior to commercializing KnowledgeTree Daniel was Technology Director at Jam Warehouse, a South African systems integrator. While at Jam Warehouse Daniel helped secure and deliver enterprise software projects for world-benchmarked retailers and consumer goods companies including Tesco Stores Limited, Britvic Softdrinks Limited, Foschini Group Ltd and Woolworths South Africa.
Daniel has in the past held a number of management and engineering positions at Internet, and mobile and telecommunications companies (including Verizon Business). Daniel studied Business Science and Information Systems at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Read Daniel's Blog.
Chief Operating Officer, Director
John has worked in the Information Technology sector for the past fourteen years. He brings considerable experience managing and growing technology companies, having founded one of South Africa's first commercial internet service providers and founded Jam Warehouse whilst completing his MBA at the Graduate School of Business, Cape Town in 2000. Previously a medical doctor and jazz saxophonist, John is a creative manager with a deep understanding of organizational dynamics. John focuses on developing people and teams and has established long term partnerships with organizations in both South Africa and Europe.
Director
Richard spent five years at Accenture, where he was a senior manager in the financial services practice, specializing in strategy and business architecture. His engagements included two lead architect roles in major business re-engineering projects for retail banks; and design and evaluation of new financial services ventures. He has counseled at board level on business strategy; process and organizational design; merger negotiations; acquisition targeting and valuation, and customer relationship management.
For five years, Richard was Public Relations Director at Saatchi & Saatchi Business Communications in London. He has directed UK and pan-European marketing campaigns for blue-chip companies including Castrol, Ericsson and NCR.
Director
Denham has been an ICT and business consultant since 1986 and has extensive experience in overseeing the conceptualization and delivery of ICT solutions. He has played key roles on many ICT projects over the past 20 years and has established and led a number of software development and implementation entities.
Denham was a Director at CS Holdings, a leading South African Systems Integrator, and General Manager of CS Holding's regional management consulting practice. Prior to this, he was a Principal Consultant for Ernst & Young's management consulting.

Philip Arkcoll - Customer and Partner Support Team Leader

Jean-Paul Bauer - Operations Team Leader
Jean-Paul is responsible for keeping KnowledgeTree's internal and customer/community-facing infrastructure running. He also looks after the ongoing architecture and development of the KnowledgeTreeLive software as a service application. Read the KnowledgeTree Team blog.
Kevin Fourie - Director of Product Development

Michele Groenewald - Financial Manager
Michele manages KnowledgeTree's finances, providing a critical control and reporting function to the senior management team.
Lindy Grobler - Marketing Manager
Lindy is responsible for building out KnowledgeTree's marketing capabilities, with a strong focus on online and open source marketing strategy.
Conrad Vermeulen - Product Architect
