Senior and Intermediate engineers on the server application

Senior and Intermediate engineers on the client-side tools
Permanent positions in Observatory, Cape Town working with a high performance group of engineers developing new releases of KnowledgeTree (www.knowledgetree.com), a leading open source application used by large international companies like NASA, Virgin America, DHL Global Mail, Bank of Scotland and many others.
You will learn about cloud computing, virtualization, and work on exciting new technologies. You are a good team player who takes pride in your work and you are known as someone who gets things done.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

At least 4 years PHP development, preferably with a focus on performance and scalability

At least 2 year of MySQL development

An understanding of Open Source licensing and technologies

User interface, AJAX Ruby/Python would be a plus

Strong familiarity with Apache

Strong familiarity with Linux/UNIXes

Familiarity with Windows
-
At least 2 years of other development experience in one of the following C++, C, C#.Net, Java

Experience with formal development and testing methodologies
